Here is the link for parents and families to purchase tickets to the Campus School Night at the Tigers Basketball Game on Feb. 19, 2020. Parents and staff can use the link to purchase the discounted tickets for the game and sit together. We hope to see everyone at the game! Thursday Feb 6 we will have a visiting artist, Tootsie Bell (mom of Miles Russell-Bell at Campus School), come to present to your student's grade level during support time. She will be sharing about her jewelry-making and metalsmith processes, including the process of sand casting! She would like to invite students to bring in an item from home to be a part of the sand cast. If your student would like to bring a pocket sized (or not much larger) hard object (this could be a toy car or action figure, etc), these items will be returned after being pressed into the sand mixture (not damaged). It is also up to the artist's discretion whether or no the objects will be used based on size and other factors. This is not a requirement! She will be bringing in a variety of objects. We look forward to such a great experience for our students at Campus School!
Our classroom Valentine's Day party letters went home yesterday, 1/30! A digital form is linked below, along with the classroom Sign Up links. If there are any concerns about paying for pizza, please let your child's classroom teacher know. The pizza is optional, but we don't want any student to be left out if they would like to participate.
Greetings,
I wanted to reach out and offer some clarification with the two separate lotteries for the National Anthem and the High Five Tunnel. The lottery to sing the National Anthem at the Tigers game on Feb. 19th has been completed. If your child received a letter from me last Friday beginning with "Congratulations!", then your child's name was drawn. If you did not receive such a letter last week, then I'm afraid that they were not selected. However, you can enter your child's name into the lottery to participate in the High Five Tunnel. The letters for the High Five Tunnel were sent last Friday. The deadline to enter your child into the lottery for that is Wednesday for Ms. Coleman. Thank you! Erin Johnson and Diane Coleman |
